Rear wheel bearing needs to be adjusted, not simply torque tighten !!!
SETTING WHEEL BEARING CLEARANCE :
1. Wheel bearing play is correct when the thrust washer can just be moved using a screwdriver simply by applying pressure, without having to apply force.
2. Secure with slotted ring and new cotter pin.
Success!

Hi I just bought an 51 plate Audi A4 1.9 tdi b6 model. The speedometer does not work and is constantly on zero and the fuel gauge fluctuates while driving. Also the odometer is stuck on 123122 miles. Any...

Have the speed sensor checked, that's mounted on the side of the tranny, that operates the speedometer. As far as the fuel gauge, probably the fuel sending unit is shot which is in the gas tank.
