How to change 1988 dodge b150 1/2 ton 5.2L throttlebody fuel injection to a 1998 dodge 5.2 L multiport fuel injection system??

is it even possible? & what's the process?

You should swap complete engines and ecus i have seen this set up installed in a 1938 dodge truck so yes it can be done

If you have throttle-body fuel injection, you don't have a fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulator should be mounted to throttle body.

If the car is fitted with a catalytic converter, then running it on 5 cylinders will damage the converter.

pass side below front of cylinder haed on block, there wiil be a number with letters. give those numbers to dealer.

1987 chevy with Throttle Body... You literally have to put it to the floor to get it to start, then it'll run nice for a while thinking it'll run take it for a drive and it will shortly die on

Check all fuel lines for leaks, make sure it doesn't have bad gas in it. Listen for fuel pump when key is turned on. Change fuel filter. See if that's helps.

If your truck has a multiport fuel injection system then crank sensor is located on the top of the bell housing on the passenger side. If your truck has carburetor or throttle body injection then your truck doesn't have a crank sensor.

WELL THAT YEAR YOU HAD THROTTLE BODY FUEL INJECTION AND MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION. IF YOU HAVE MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION. YOU COULD HAVE DEAD FUEL INJECTOR OR LOW COMPRESSION AND INTAKE LEAK TO CYLINDER 1. CHECK COMPRESSION THAT WILL TELL YOU WHAT HAPPING.YOU COULD HAVE A SLIGHT HEAD GASKET LEAK.

I'm having my injectors cleaned on my '04 f150. The shop suggested that I also service the throttle body at $100. Is this common and a suggested service?

There are two kinds of injection... throttle body looks like a carburator, and has one or two injectors in it,
Multiport has an injector for each cylinder. A multiport wont have a throttlebody, but both do have other parts, like an idle air control valve, and other items that could be cleaned.
I would recommend adding injector cleaner to the fuel, and spray some carburator cleaner into the intake while running. Just an idea!
