1995 GMC JIMMY AC AIR FLOW PROBLEMS.

Usually a blend door problem.
The system is designed to default to the defrost position for safety.
If the blend doors are vac operated, look for a vac leak.
If electric, look for a failed motor or stuck door.

Heater not heating ? both hoses hot , fan works but no hot air ?

is the climate control switching over like from floor to defrost to vent ? maybe the flap door not working in heater box.both hoses are hot but is water flowing thru heater core.

No air flow from ip vents.

There is either a problem with vacuum to a actuator for the blend doors or a vacuum problem to the a/c programmer. It is also possible that the a/c programmer "control head" is bad.

What is a blender/ it is suposed to a part of the heater area

The "blender" would refer to the blend actuators that change the flow of air from floor to vent to defrost or combinations. Properly working blend doors will allow you to direct air to the dash vents, the floor, the defroster, the floor and defroster or the floor and dash vents. If it is not working the heater will still work but you will hae no control oer where the air flows.

A/c flow

A: Cable has come off door on defroster.

B: Fuse is blown on that part of wiring. May or may not be listed under A/C; could also be under heater.

C: I believe 96 models still had some inline fuses in the wires. Wouldn't hurt to check.

Low valume of air out of the heater

does the vents swithc from defront to vent and floor or its it stuck on defrost? if its stuck on defrost then open hood check for broken or cracked vac line to hose on the hood. if it switches then remove the blower resistor and inspect the evap core for clogging if it is clean it to restore the flow of air thru heater system

Could be a vaccum line leaking not changing the vent flap to defrost

No dashboard heat output

The climate control was poorly designed on these cars.

There is only heat on the floor and defrost settings, due to the layout of the ductwork.
