This is easy fist you need to take out the sid unit thats the info display where the clock is .slide a piece of coat hanger into the two holes until you carnt send them in anymore slightly spread them apart and the unit will slide out do the same process with the radio this can be a bit fiddly but it does come out. after that you can get your hand inside and retrieve hazard warning light

Tail lights and dash lights out, fuse keeps blowing

a fuse burning is due to a short in the circuit ( something is grounding out before the load). the load is the light. heavy amperage draw will blow a fuse, but assuming you didnt wire up 4 big off road lights or a winch to that circuit, its most likely a short.

I have a 2004 Monte Carlo, my turn signals and flashers just stopped working, the fuse is good and all the bulbs are good. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what is causing this problem.

The turn signal switch assembly often causes this problem. If the hazard button is on your steering column it is part of the switch assembly and is called a multi-function switch . If it has a separate hazard button on the dash the can also cause the the same thing to happen. Try holding very slight pressure on the hazard button on the dash while the turn signal is on. If it starts working correctly replace only the the hazard switch. It is usually just snapped into the hole in the dash. If the hazard switch is on the column, than you should replace the multi-function switch. If it is equipped with an airbag, be sure the key is off while working on column. The multi-function switch should not require removal of the steering wheel on this car.

I installed a new radio in my 1998 acura cl but when i put the dash back in place my turning signals and hazards stopped working.....what's wrong and how can i fix it?.....thanks in advance for your help

This means that the plug for the hazard switch is not pushed in all the way. The turn signals will not work when the emergency flashers are disconnected.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm the smartest guy on the block and just knew this. I actually had the center console apart on my 99 3.0CL and had to drive it with everything disconnected. The first thing I noticed was that the turn signals did not work.

How do i remove climate control from dash? does entire dash need to be removed to do this, and how? are there any diagrams of dash showing this? Thanks in advance

Why do you want to remove the climate control?? It is basically locked into about 50 things up front there, the dash does not come out. It does, but I wouldn't do it if somebody paid me. there are diagrams for the dash. The steering wheel comes off first, then 500 hidden fasteners that never go back in right, plugs, switches, lights, more fasteners, finally get off the climate control, then wonder why didn't I just leave the thing on there. I just took out a dash on a junk truck for the wiring harness, never again, It would have taken me 10 times longer if I knew I had to be careful and then try to put that thing back?? No way!! And I am good with stuff like that. It is a job. Hope this helps.

I took battery out and put it back in now my hazard light wont go off and it seems like a alarm system went on what do i do to make this stop thanks

did you buy this truck new? does it have an alarm? I dont think it did from the factory, look under the dash for anything that doesnt look factory. if you bought it used it may have one and you never knew it (you would not be the first) you will need to disable it and maybe splice some wires so that it the truck will start.
