How hard would it be to take a engine out of a 2000 chevy blazer 4x4? Please let us know! Thank you, Ray

Hi everything is easy if you know what you are doing and have the right equipment so have you got lifting gear have you got a good selection of tools and will need a little help getting the engine in and out otherwise you will struggle and you need to be inside with plenty of space good luck, yates210456

I found this link for the removal of the booster. It looks like one of the retaining nuts that holds the booster to the forewall is difficult to get at.

2000 chevy blazer will not go into reverse, but all other gears work fine.


sounds like reverse let go you need to have trany rebuilt. soory for the bad news, good luck.

Removing the radiator from a 2000 chevy blazer 4.3 4x4 4door???


it is not that hard to replace the radiator. you can do it. remove negative cable from battery,drain radiator,remove top and bottom radiator hoses,remove transmission lines from the radiator, remove bolts in plasticradiator cover,remove all hoses connected to radiator, after everything is disconnected radiator will pull up and out

Oil pump


If it's a 2wd model, remove the engine mount bolts and raise engine enough so you can put a 4x4 between the engine and frame mounts. Remove the oil pan and unbolt the oil pump and drop right out. If it's 4wd, you'll have to remove the engine and basically do the same thing.
