Question about 1996 GMC Safari
Can not get my key out of the ignition cylinder it turns halfway only, key will turn on the engine but will not turn all the way back. although the engine start I can not move it from park to drive
Most vehicles can have the ignition cylinder removed while in the neutral position. If you can remove your lower steering column cover, you should be able to remove the bolts and pull it out. I do recommend disconnecting the battery first though.
