2007 Chevy Uplander V6 loosing coolant when driving, more when it is really cold outside.

You need to have your cooling system pressure tested. This will let you examine the engine area without the hazards of the engine running. You may have head gasket issues. Depending on the area of the leak, your cylinder compression can actually pressurize the cooling system. When the cooling system pressure exceeds the rating of the cap, the cap seal opens and can blow coolant back into the overflow bottle where it eventually leaks while driving. Check to see if your overflow bottle is full.

I own a 2007 chevy uplander v6 95k miles and the cooling fan comes on 20 seconds after car is running. I traced the fuse block to fan#3 by removing fan relay to know which fan is being told to run. it only...

Your vehicle has two fans controlled by three relay's . Both fans run together at two different speeds , low an high ! With the A/C on the fan's will run all the time while stopped at stop sign or idling . Any other time the then only come on when the coolant reaches a set temp. The ETC - engine coolant temp sensor is a input to the PCM - engine computer . When coolant temp reaches 212 degress the PCM energizes the fan 1 relay turning on both fans at low speed . This is very complex ,your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop.

Water inside under the front drivers and passangers side. what could cause this?

hi, what this will be is the heater matrix, this is like a small radiator that is under the dashboard of the vehicle, what happens is sometimes either the pipes split, or the matrix splits , this then leaks coolant into the vehicle inside, hence your wet carpets, they are or should i say can be hard to remove , and to be honest it would be advisable to get a mechanic who knows how to replace them as they are not one for the faint hearted, also do get the smell of coolant? a sweetish smell in the vehicle? as this is a sure sign of that as well, check your water in the radiator to see if you have lost any, as this could cause the vehicle to overheat when the water runs low...hope this helps you, please vote and rate thanks

CHEVROLET UPLANDER no heat at idle

how many miles?

take off the radiator cap when cold - top it off - - then start it and again top it off - keep an eye on this level for 4 days - doing this every single morning - if the water is always at the top - -done - if not - then check for a small leak that only leaks under pressure - these can take two people one to rev up the engine and one to look for a slight leak --
next is replace the thermostat - then of course the water pump - also take down the vin number and call ur local dealer - ask for any recalls on ur vin # as they are specific to that vehicle
