Are you handy and able to work with tool. this may be a dumb question but it is necessary. because you need to get under the car and disconnect the wires and unbolt the alternator. aside from losen soem of the fan belt in order to get to the alternator.
my suggestion is go to local lib and lookup the hayes automotive book and see if you can handle it. if so, then read throught it understand what you have to do to get to the alternator and put them back to gether.

if you are capable of all these. you can email me at
i can give instruction as how to do it.

BUT, if you are still wanting to do it yourself go to my website, click on "Contact Us" and give me all the information about you car. "Engine size, Make, Model, Year and VIN number and your name. I'll help you step by step, BUT, understand I will not be responsible if you miss a step and bend the valves, but if you listen carefully and follow instructions we should be able to get you through. How do I replace the window weatherstripping on both the driver and passenger side windows on my 2000 Mistubishi Eclipse GT?

Only the dealer will have them through special order and they should come with instructions. VERY EXPENSIVE!

My 1999 lincoln navigator wont start. The lights turn on but the windows roll up slow. The car clicks but will not turn on.

Hi, try a jump start. If that works, check the voltage at the battery with the car running and the jumpers removed. If the voltage is less than 14 volts DC or you don't have a voltmeter, remove the alternator and have it tested at your local parts chain. For additional information, please see my tip at . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

I'am trying to set the timing for a 96 mit.eclipse

you have to line up all 3 of your tjmjng marks. Is your engine single head or double overhead cams The marks have to line up.Firstyou have to remove the belt. Then remove harmonic balancer to get to the timing gear sprocket. It has a blade attached to it with 3 fins in between the fins is a little dip that is the crankshaft position.align that dip with the mark below the crankshaft position sensor.then you have to do the same with your camshafts. Then replace the belt and spin the the crankshaft clockwise to the aligment mark they should all stop on their marks.

Replacing headlight assembly on 1999 mitsubishi eclipse

you don't have to remove the whole front end, some one is yanking your chain when you lift the hood there is three mounting bolts that attach the headlight assembly to the body remove those and then you are going to want to position your hands on the top and side of the headlight giving a gentle tug there is a clip on the bottom of the headlight that is what you are trying to break free good luck let me know what happens

NB: Take note of how "Tight" the belt drive is and try to replicate that tension when finished.
