Be more specific, head unit could mean cylinder head/s could mean thermostat unit, were the hoses hooked up right? thermostat should be checked before installing, very easy to do could be stuck shut.was the heater core checked or flushed out?lots of maybys, wish it was in my garage..

Is this a new body-style 99? The electric motors that control the doors inside your heater unit are prone to failure. Your best bet is to have a qualified technician take a look at it. A good scanner will show which motor is bad.

I have a 1991 GMC Sierra with stop light problems. I have checked the fues and bulbs which are good and replace the stop light switch but still have not stop lights.

sounds like to me the bulb socket needs changed or bad ground .pull back the carpet along the back and look for ground contacts.there should be a place where they conect a few ground wires .

1991 gmc sierra c1500 will start then suddenly stop

your fuel injectors may be clogged or your fuel sending unit may be operating for a while then cut off causing the fuel supply to the fuel injectors to not feed anymore fuel to the engine. check those out then write me back. zach_drummer_1990@yahoo.com thanks.
