Question about 1995 Lincoln Continental

Lincoln continental fuses

I have a 1995 lincoln continental and no owners manual and need to know the fuse diagram. am looking to pull a fuse. either one for interior lights or one for sensors. i keep getting warning about doors being open when not and with the interior lights staying on all the time has killed my battery. and yes I have tried wd-40 on latches as I saw in other postings here.

Same issue here. It happens when one of the rear doors has been opened. The panel says "Door Adjar" and the interior lights remain on as well the doors will not lock due to the issue.

I know there is something with the relay pattern used, but don't know much else, I do have the wire diagrams, but they don't help at all because there are too many wires for the typical shade tree kind of guy. I'm also tired of dead batteries and praying the car starts when I goto the store or work.

I have heard there is a door sensor relay that can cause this problem when it goes bad, however i have not been able to locate this relay.

What i did do to better the situation is pull fuse 31 (15amp) out of the fuse pannel under the driver side dash and this will disable all of the interior lights and nothing else. I know this does not fix anything but at least i dont get dead batterys anymore.

go to motorcraft.com, pro center, tech info, owner manual, fuses in index.

I may have an owner manual if interested. It would be $5 plus $1.50 postage.

Please rate highly if this helps.

PS What is the issue?

Can anyone offer the location of the PCM Power Relay on a 1995 Lincoln Continental?

High current fuses are circuit protectors that are part of the wiring harness for some electrical equipment. These, like fuses, open when the circuit load exceeds their amperage rating. High current fuses may be purchased from your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer.
The high current fuse panel is located in the engine compartment on the left-hand fender apron.

IMPORTANT
Ford recommends that high current fuses be replaced by a qualified technician.

Check Position 20, 10AMP for PCM KAPWR (underhood )

This and other details can find in this link for Lincoln Continental - Owners Manual (page 274 and next)

Hope this helps (remember rated and comment this).
