Question about 1999 Volvo C70
I recently purchased a used C70 with 95,000 miles. Mechanically the car runs great, but it is all the little problems that are killing me - most of which I now know are commons problems with this model: The visors are broke, the passenger door lock won't engage, the passenger window goes down using the driver side buttons, but not back up?, the passenger seat has been stuck forward, and the key has already gotten stuck in the ignition! Please tell me I did not make a mistake purchasing this car? In regard to the visors has anyone found a place to buy replacements at a reasonable price? I also need an additional key made and the dealer told me it would cost $400. Can this be right?? Thanks for any and all help.......
I noticed my key recently getting stuck in the ignition and frustrating as it was, once i discovered the button on the auto gear leaver was stuck in, my problem was solved. I.e. Just pull the button out. I'd put a pound to a penny on that being your problem. :)

I don't have very good answers for you. I also own a C70 1999 has about 144000 miles right now and the passenger visor is broken. My brother took out the light bulb for me because it was draining the car battery, and I had to replace the car battery because of it. My windows work fine, sorry about yours. One time the key got stuck in the ignition and I panicked, prayed and kept trying to pry it out, luckily it came out and has never happened again....knock on wood. My driver seat is stuck and will not move anymore. I fixed it once and it cost $120-150, can't remember. Then it broke again, and I refuse to fix it again. But it is stuck in an okay position for me to drive. A little tight for bigger people/dudes.
