Also check out the electrical plug to the headlamp bulb...these bulbs get very hot and sometimes the plugs deteriorate as they are made of plastic. i have seen them breakdown and allow the wires to contact each other! just a thought.

There has got to be a hot wire shorting out some where in that circuit, you will need to trace this circuit from the head lite back to the fuse box. try and remember if any work has been done on the car just prior to developing this problem. if so check in that general area to see if any wires were accidently pinched or cut. if you are unable to find the shorted wire then have your head lite switch checked out, as it may be shorting out inside. by any chance have you had a minor fender bender( accident ) on the front left side of your car? as this may have pinched a wire.
I hope this is helpfull

I just bought a 1991 acura integra and my drl light suddenly went out two days ago all the lights still work everything works but the drls

The daytime running lights work off the high beams. They shouldn't be blowing bulbs unless there is a charging system problem causing the voltage to be unregulated. If this were the case, other bulbs would burn out as well. The most likely cause is a defective daytime running light module failure. The module is grey and is located under the dash on the drivers side up to the left. It has a single plug with4-6 wires.

Why does my 70 amp fuse keeps blowing on my 91 integra

Do you have a big stereo system installed? Or a car alarm. If so, something is drawing on the current from your battery and shorting out the fuse. In other words, a positive (or hot wire) is possibly grounding out on the frame or some other location on the car. Check as much wiring as you can possible see. Look for evidence of mice or squirrels. They chew wiring a lot for some reason.

Running lights on 1991 acura integra dont work

Did you change your dimmer switch? When my rear lights and dash lights stopped working the fuse was blown, but the transistor inside the dimmer switch (just left of your steering wheel) was blown also. (had my dad check it with the multimeter). You'll need a narrow flat head screw driver to pry it out, start at the bottom, that's where the metal clip that holds it in is. Cost me $5 at the junk yard. Hope this solves your problem, annoying isn't it to not be able to drive at night.
