Make sure the transmission fluid is full. Pump cavitation due to low fluid levels can cause engine stalling.

The car dies when i backup

If you are saying the engine speed does not change with the gas pedal, then yes I would suspect the throttle position sensor. You can have it checked with an ohm meter.

2001 hyundai accent 1.5l codes 300 301 303 have ck tim belt, comp at 200 psi .replace spark plugs, crank sensor ,fuel pump&filter .will start then die

Replace the throttle position sensor (TPS) (since you've checked/replaced anything else which could be causing this problem - except WIRING). Reinspect all wiring & connectors/connections before replacing the TPS. Also, I've seen (on occasion, a faulty "Main Relay" create the condition you describe). Suppose you have a faulty ignition switch (ignition key). When placed in the 'START' position, the engine starts normally, BUT, when you release IT to the 'RUN' position, the engine dies - CLUE?

My truck dies in reverse.

It sounds to me like you have an internal vacuum leak in your transmission.

When i put truck in reverse it dies

The idle speed control is what you need to replace
Auto Zone will provide a FREE scan of your engines computer too
That item is like a plug and play item. No adjustments are needed once replaced
The reverse gear is the highest gear ratio in any transmission so the idle will have to be on the money or else if weak the engine will die out such as yours is doing

How to replace 2000 Alero cmp sensor?

On the 2.4 litre engine it is mounted on the cylinder head.
On the 3.4 litre engine it is mounted under the throttle body near the area where the transmission and engine meet.
Both sensors are held in place by one bolt.

I have a 1988 pontiac firebird with a 2.8 v6 fuel injected engine that displays code 32 and 34. We have changed the plugs, plug wires, rotor, and dist. cap and have also replaced the mass air flow (maf)...

Check throttle position sensor (TPS) is a sensor used to monitor the position of the throttle. The sensor is usually a potentiometer, and therefore provides a variable resistance dependent upon the position of the valve. The sensor signal is used by the engine control unit (ECU) as an input to its control system. The ignition timing and fuel injection timing (and potentially other parameters) are altered depending upon the position of the throttle, and also depending on the rate of change of that position. For example, in fuel injected engines, in order to avoid stalling, extra fuel may be injected if the throttle is opened rapidly (mimicking the accelerator pump of carburetor systems). the cost about 50-75 bucks.

Engine dies when put into Drive

When the vehicle is put into reverse. The transmission is working in 1st gear. The valve body and solenoids are working as designed.
When you change to Drive , The valve body could be getting stuck.
The transmission is starting our in a higher gear. Such as 3rd or over drive. There is to much torque for the engine to continue to run and is shutting down. Another possibility is the Torque converter has a lock up mode for when you are traveling down the highway.
This also can be stuck in that mode. I would take it to a local transmission shop for complete Diagnosis
