Windows, side mirrors and door locks suddenly stopped working on 2002 Buick Lesabre Limited

Suddenly, I cannot open or close any windows. I cannot lock the door. I cannot adjust the side mirrors. I cannot open the trunk with the trunk release on drivers door. The remote does not work for locking and unlocking the doors but the remote does open the trunk. What happened? How can I fix it? Is it a blown fuse?

You most likely have a dead battery. You can buy a new battery at any auto parts store or Home Depot.

The first thing to do would be to hook up a factory or professional type scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . This vehicle has very complex electronic's. Serial data communication network,class2 data bus . There are electronic modules inside the door's that control the lock's ,power window's , power mirror's . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop . Not a fuse problem , driver an passenger door module each have thier own power supply. Two circuit breakers ,PWR/WDO circuit breaker 30 amp. You could check DRVMDL 10amp fuse ,located in the rear fuse box , PASSMDL 10amp fuse rear fuse box , RRDR/MDL 10 amp fuse rear fuse box . Rear fuse box is under the back seat . None of the window's , lock's etc.. work from any door switch ?

SOURCE: 2002 door panel

gently pry around the edges of the door panel, you'll hear about 7-8 connectors pop out, then the panel will come off. the new regulator will likely come with replacement connectors in case you break one. hold the window up with screwdrivers and loosen the bolts where the window rests on the lifter. from there i believe there are just 3-4 bolts holding the regulator in, and it comes out pretty easily compared to other cars ive done. just reverse to reinstall. another note, the window rests 2 pieces of flat rubber folded over (like a taco is the best way to describe it) and after time they can get stuck on the glass. GENTLY pry them off because some rubber stuck to the window and it wouldnt fit in the new regulator, so i had to take it all back out and scrape the rubber off the window

What could be my problem for my windshield wipers to suddenly start and stop working?

It could be the screws are loose (at the bottom end of the wipers)
There may be a rubber cap you will need to access the screws. (Also worth checking if the wiper motor is working when wipers are not)

Other possibility, the wiper motor fuse is loose with intermittent connection - locate the fuse box and take out all fuses, inspect them for damage/burn marks and insert them firmly back.

Hope this helps

Driver side front door window will not move. Some sound, but no movement. How to Replace Window motor regulator on this 2000 Buick LaSabre Limited driver's door with multiple controls: Locks, speakers,...

First the door panel must be removed, then you can tell what part is broken. It will probably be the window trac assy.To replace that you must drill out the 3/16 rivets that hold it in and then replacethem with 1/4 -20 bolts on re-assembly.

I need to replace the driver side power mirror on my 1997 Buick LeSabre Limited. How do I remove the interior door panel to have access to the mirror clips and electrical connection?

First screws are on the bottom side of the inside door pull/ arm rest, and after that there may be a few around the edges of the panel. unscrew the up and down locking pin if it has one up there by the window, gently pull out at the bottom to release the plastic push pins and once all pins are pulled out (there are probably 10 to release) reach in between the panel and gently take apart the connections. Lift up and out to free the panel of the window gaskets and there you are, Be easy with it all that stuff breaks easily!!!!

Windows stopped working

Open the drivers door and look between the door and the door pillar(just above or below the hinge) you should see a black rubber ribbed covering. This has all the wires for the door locks, power windows, etc. in it. Good possibility that there is a wire or wires broken in there from all the door opening and closing of the door over the years.
