2005 Chevy Malibu evap sensor won't go off after changing it. Recently had a fuel level system done on the tank.

evap sensor won't go off ? Do you mean the check engine light ? What DTC - diagnostic trouble code ? fuel leveler system done ,your funny ! Fuel gauge sending unit of fuel pump ? With the fuel nozzle shutting off like that, the air in the tank is causing that , which means there is a problem with the Evap vent solenoid or wiring to the vent solenoid . Pump noise in rear of car keeps running / Gas pump or load leveller / seems longer run time olately in cold weather ( 1999 olds aurora)

you might have a leak in the rear suspension load leveler. check connections with soapy water. locate where sound is coming from. fuel pump in tank is a slight hum and not that noticable, but the air comp for load leveler is. Also spray around rubber boots on shocks, also check load leveler switch on axle to frame for broken or loose lever control.

I have a 98 3.4 oldsmobile Silhouett just replaced fuel leveler sending unit with fuel pump fuel leveler wasn't working before and it still does not show how much fuel it has goes up when you start it then...

You need to make sure all your wiring is good especially the terminals in the connectors.Check all the wiring from the front to the back where the connectors hook up.If you know someone with a scanner then you can usually do a sweep test on the gauge and it should show the level reading also. But not all scanners have this ability. If it shows the level reading on the scanner then this would eliminate the pcm.Because it is seeing the data.Throttle position has nothing to do with fuel level.Do you think you have a problem with the throttle position?
