Steering works, but it is very sloppy and slow to react, what's wrong with it?

check wheel bearings for condition and adjustment. Check front end suspension for wear . Check steering ball joints for wear.

Lancer vibrates at 90 to 100 ks at front at front left

bent rim, tires out of balance, worn cv axle, bad wheel bearing, warped brake rotor, bad tire. Change that wheel to the rear, and see if the vibration moves with the wheel. Depending on the vibration, could be a motor/transmisson mount.

My Mitsubishi lancer ex vibrates at 120kmph. I have sent in wheel balancing, wheel alignment already but still giving me same problem. Car model is Mitsubishi lancer ex 2.0 2011 model, and done 15,000klm

Well, I had this problem once and it lasted for years and could never figure out what it was until one day I took it into a tire shop. They found out that when the tire & rim was placed onto the car, the lug nuts were not centering the wheel correctly on the cars hub. So while driving the tire was not centered and it caused a shimmy vibration that would shake the steering wheel like it was out of balance.

My Mitsubishi lancer ex is vibrating during 12okmph. I already did wheel alignment, wheel balancing but still giving me same problem. Please advise what is the solution it is 2011 model with 15,000klm...

I have a Mitsubishi lancer also and I found out after a discussion with the dealer service manager that a similar problem comes from warped front disc rotors. I noticed that there was a slight pulsing of the brake pedal at low speeds but the brakes worked as they should. I went to a brake specialist where I get all my clutch and brake parts and he informed that the genuine rotors are made of inferior metal and warp early in the service life. As they are not covered by warranty I bought after market discs of good quality and the problem went. What I am trying to say is that your low mileage problem is about the same as when mine started. If the disc rotors are warped then at speed the continuous touching of the pads will produce a vibration affect at high speed as at lower speed the vibration will be barely noticeable. Take the car to a reputable brake specialist and have him test the discs as to running true and are not warped.

Why my lancer vibrates at speed above 80

This can be cause by many different things. First thing to do to is balance all four tires, then check the vibration, if it is still there then check your steering sytem (ball joints etc.) Check all struts or shocks for wear, hope this helps.

Hi, I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla the steering wheel vibrates at any speed.Did wheel alignment but aint got better. Pls advise. Cheers, Anks

Vibration or a "shimmey" is an indication that the tires need to be balanced. This is not related to the wheel alignment you had done A poorly balanced tire will vibrate on its own, transferring the vibration all the way through the steering wheel. Have the tires balanced. If this doesn't fixy your issue, then the problem lies between the rotors (could have a warped rotor) and the rack and pinion. Best of luck on your problem.
