There should be a big nut with a red cap on the drivers side strut tower, that is the positive.
For the negative you can use any metal part of the engine.

its located towards the right side of the engine. It has a pulley on it. Google a picture of an 'alternator' and itll be easy to point out in the engine bay.

Try placing the gear selector in nuetral. The park switch might be bad.

1997 dodge intrepid wont start

Dude are you serious you ran the battery dead but dont try to just jump start it you need to take the battery posts off and clean the m make sure theres goo connection then charge the battery or jump start it if you jump it make sure you put the neg. cable on the body where it says to right next to the battery if you dont you could short the computer out then your screwed

There should be a positve jump point under the hood. It should have a red cover with a + sign on it.
