Question about 1998 GMC Sierra
The door won't open when the handle is pulled but it will open from the outside
Standard problem; must replace the handle on the inside which entails drilling out rivets, etc. Easier to have a mechanic do it and the cost is around 150$... kind of worth it when you try to do it yourself. Let the problem go longer and the handle, itself, just lies there in a retarded fashion. Basically, the inside of the door latch has a piece of plastic that breaks off. Go figure. Build cheap ****; expect bad results.
This should have been made from a higher density material to offset this problem.
