How do I check to see if the speakers are connected in my Tahoe (5 passenger)? The front and rear ones are working, but not the middle where the back seats are located.
Check for hidden screws at the bottom of the console sometimes these are in the carpet and also some are inside the console when you open the console you feel down in there with your hands for small screws and nuts

My Tahoe has the same problem. It seems to be a connection in the center console because sometimes when I open and close the lid to the center console either both back speakers turn on or just the right speaker turns on.
To clarify...the speakers are in the passenger doors. They do not work (have not since I bought it) and I need help in knowing how to check to see if they are actually connected. I have already checked all the fuses.
I did not spill anything on my center console. I think its faulty wiring. If I knew how to open up the center console and look at the wiring I could easily fix it, the problem is that I don't know how to open it up and check.
has something been spilled in the console where the speaker controls are if so this may be the cause
