Question about 1997 Chevrolet Venture
The auto transmission in my 97 venture has just recently began to slightly hang in gear; when I let off the accel., the AT will then shift. This doesn't happen all the time though. With 170,000 miles, I'm not willing to put more than a few hundred into repair. Does this sound like a full service AT service would be sufficient or would more repair be expected?
I would take it to a shop for service. Change fluid and filter. Might want to add an additive to it but clean fluid should clean it up. My experience is just clean fluid will work most of the time.
