Question about 1990 Ford F150
I have a 1976 Ford F250 with a 390 CID that my wife bought in OR, and we live in Ca and have to smog check it. However there is no smog equipment on the truck. Does this vehicle require a catalytic converter and a smog pump, and where can I get an emission hose diagram for it?
from Pioneer, CA
Whatever it had when it was sold in OR is what will be required in calif, it goes by engine calibration number, that is on a sticker on the valve cover, another way to get it is to run the VIN number on a Ford information computer, we call this the OASIS SYSTEM. Also check the emission sticker on the radiaor support under the hood.
