Question about 2001 Suzuki Xl 7
If the battery is out long enough, the emissions control computer may have lost it's mind. I haven't had that happen on my XL-7 yet but last year it happened on the Miata while it was in winter storage. The Miata shop manual had this two page instruction set that I had to go through to get the engine to run right again (and pass the emissions testing). Get your hands on a real Suzuki shop manual set (NOT Chiltons, they are just general reference). If this is a possibility, the real shop manual will have a "reset" procedure I am sure.
