Question about 1989 Jeep Cherokee

Not firing and i replced all major electrial parts

My 89 cherokee will not fire . i replced distribitor ,crankshaft senseor ,coil ,coil mod,the computor thats located under the dash . it has not jump time . someone please help . . . . . . . .. .

What do you mean "the battery still no fire"?

Do you mean that there is no spark at the spark plug?
Have you pulled out a plug, grounded it and cranked the engine to check to see what colour (if any) the spark is?
If there is no spark at the plug, then either change the plugs if they look to be in very poor condition, or change the coil.

if you tell me which motor you have the 2.5 or 4.0 i'll try to step you in the right direction with some diagrams to do the testing also an email address to send diagrams to fix problem

Replaced distribitor and rotor now wont start on 91 chevy blazer


make sure u have the wires in the correct spots, there is a firing order, u need to have them in the right spots or else it wont fire, call ur local parts store and they will give u the firing order

1993 jeep cherokee. Can't get spark out of coil.


Check the Crankshaft Position sensor. Usually it will reveal itself through the check engine codes. If this is faulty, the coil will not get the signal it needs to fire.

Replced the cap & dist coil pac has fire no spark to spark plug


install the new rotor, if that isn't it check the crankshaft position sensor.
