Transmission will not shift stuck in second gear! Speedometer does not work & I have replaced both the input & output speed sensors on the transmission & neither still works! I have a 97 Plymouth Grand...

the check engine light should be on with a code P0700 present. This means that the transmission control module has codes in it. You will need a high end scan tool (not an OBDII code reader) to get those codes. Once you know what those codes are post them here and I'll be happy to assist you further.

Error codes 738

All I have for code 738 is "trans control module speed output circuit low" which means the data going to the trans control module needs to be checked.
You would probably need a scanner to watch the data flow from the transmission to find the problem

P0140 bank 1 sensor 2 1996 plymouth grand voyager minivan

Code 140 is for a problem with the O2 sensor bank one sensor two.
This sensor is behind the catalytic converter and tells the computer if the cat is working or not.
The code means the sensor voltage has not changed as often as it should.
Could be a faulty sensor, wiring harness problem, or other issue.
The sensor would need to be tested using a scanner.

probably has a bad input or output speed sensor gone bad.they have a known 100% fail rate.check codes first if there is a bunch of them and one is input or output speed sensor then thats whats wrong, replace both they are only 20 bucks each and just screw in

1991 plymoth voyage comes uyp with code 12 and 21

If the engine is running fine and you disconnected the battery recently then don't worry about it. To clear the check engine light and the codes you can do one of two things. One pull the negative battery post off the battery for 30 seconds. This clears the computer codes and the light. However it also clears your radio presets and clock. Another way is to pull the fuse labeled Fuel Pump. This fuse is in a box under the hood behind the battery (See photo to the left), Should be the only yellow 20AMP fuse in there. This fuse also disconnects power to the PCM "computer" as well Kind of a secret to the general public Just leave this fuse out for 30seconds or so. Then replace. This will keep your clock and radio presets. The engine might be a little hard to start or die the first time since the computer has to relearn everything again

My grand voyager check engine light keeps coming on,but i do not know the problem.its a van.

cycle key, on,off,on,off,on & leave on (not start) now count flashes of check engine light, 2 digit numbers. For example. flash, flash, flash, pause, flash, flash, flash, is code 33. or flash, flash, pause, flash, is code 21. Write them down & get back to me. when you get code 55, that's telling you end of message.

Plymouth voyager 1994 check engine code 34 35 5

34 = Speed Control Solenoid Circuits: An Open or Shorted Condition has been detected in the Speed Control Vacuum or Vent Solenoid Circuits.
35 = Radiator Fan Relay Circuit: An Open or Shorted Condition has been detected in the Radiator Fan Relay Circuit.
That 5 at the end should have had another 5 after. Did it? 5-blinks and 5-blinks means the system has finished sending the Codes.
