Hard starting in the moning if your engine is diesel check your heater plugs means when the diesel engine is cold it needs to heat up, also injection pump and injectors can cause.check the engine compretion.
the petrol engine when your sparkplugs is worn out it can be or when the cyliner head valves is leaking puting more petrol on the combustion chamber.

Could bad maf sensor and bad idle air valve have vehicle stall then hard to start for awhile and cuts off after 10 minutes of driving

I would also suspect the ignition module. They tend to work ok for a few minutes when they are cold, then fail once they warm up. If you wait awhile for the ICM to cool down, it will work as well as it can until it warms up again. A code scanner is your best friend to know where to start looking, and to perform tests and log data.

Ford tick over problem

The battery could be slightly weak, making the computer go on the fritz, try a fresh battery!!!! The rev counters bounce often with a weak battery.

Leave feedback good or bad.

Car cuts out and stumbles. does not start from warm

Hi,

yes they are linked together I had the same problem and the solution is your coil pack needs replacing there for there is no spark for the spark plugs to the engine thats why the rev counter is moving it the engine cutting out really quickly.

There not expensive I got 1 from a scrap dealer for 20 euro and really easy to install its just 2 bolts and a connection.

The smell off fuel is from when your trying to start it back up the fuel is being pumped into the engine and not being burned

Hard to start my car it cuts out after 2mins rev counter up and down but after about 20 mins when car is warm ok but a little miss now again

hi most japanes cars run the rev counter through the ignition module which will cause your problem as it controls the spark in the distrubutor as it warms up it acts differently yates210456
