Question about 1997 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Take the black plastic panel out from under passenger side dashboard area. 2 of three screws and fight it a little. Once this is out of the way there are two white slides you will see on the bottom side of the heater box. Slide these to either end and pull the compartment down. The filter is stuck inside. Pull it out and reinstall. But good luck. That compartment cover is a bear to get back in correctly.
