My radio in my 2004 dts will not turn on after battery went dead

You need to gete the radio security code and enter it in. Just call or drop by the dealer and theye can give you the code or enter it. Should be free but your dealer may vary. When you changed the battery and lost power the radio goes into a secure mode just in case it was stolen. The code should be about 4 digets long so its not a big thing to enter. its keyed to your vin number so the d ealer may want to see that as well as your registtration and maybe a drivers licence depending on how paranoid they are.

My battery went dead and now i dont have the code to restart the radio what should i do to recieve the code

Check the owners manual for the radio code, if no luck take it to a Honda dealer and they will retrieve the code using the VIN number usually at no cost.

My battery went dead now my radio wont work

hello duk.... Often when the battery is disconnected on newer vehicles you need a code to reactivate the radio. Call your local Ford dealership for this code. Joe

My battery went dead and since then my radio requests a code wich i don't have

This code should be in the glove box on a card the size of a credit card if you dont have then you will need to call the dealer maybe they have it on record if they dont then you need to remove the radio and get the serial # off the radio then go to dealer with proof of ownership and they will get the code for you, or you can pay them to remove radio and get #.

Radio does not work

There should be a card in your glove box most of the time it's in the packet that the dealership gives you when you buy a car. On this card is the radio unlock code. The card is about the size of a credit card. You will have to enter the number on the card into the radio so you will have your tunes back.

I need code for my radio 1994 volvo 850 VIN code yv1ls551xs222154

call your local volvo dealer and tell them your battery went dead and that you need radio code. they will ask you for car VIN...dont go that route, pull out radio and give them the numbers on the sticker ontop of radio. and make sure you keep the code written down. Good luck.

E55 radio code

If you typed the number in wrong more than twice it may be locked and won't take the number even when it's correct. You need to disconnect the battery again for more than 5 minutes and try again. If you typed it in correctly, the card might be from a previous radio (if you're not the original owner) or if it is the original radio, a mechanic may have swapped the card with another car by mistake. Either way, it's a trip to the dealer.
