Question about 1992 Buick Roadmaster

The rear window shattered on my 92 Buick Roadmaster Station wagon and when they came to put the new glass in the hinges were rusty. I can't find new hinges anywhere. What do I do?

Just get used ones, make sure you inspect them before buying to make sure they still have grease and are not getting rusty, and sign of rust on them is a bad sign...

You may snear at used parts, but in alot of cases they are better used than new.

New fuel pump on 92 roadmaster fuel pump has power but no gas coming through injectors


take a test light and make sure you have power to the injectors. then put the test light to the positive side of the battery and check for injector pulse from the ECM by trying to start the vehicle and see if the light flashes.

Power windows have relays not fuses if you can locate relay in fuse box see if there is another with same number if so change and if window works you need new relay if not drive motor may be bad

The rear window on our 2001 V70 cross country wagon mysteriously shattered while sitting in our garage


Lots of possibilities. If glass has a flaw, from a stone chip or something, then even just a quick temperature change can cause it to shatter. It is also possible it was under pressure because of something pinching, misaligned, caught in the hinge, etc. unfortunately it is probably not under warranty, although it always pays to check for recalls. But insurance should cover it. Maybe even the home owners insurance, since it happened in the garage.

Car will not start


Recheck the battery, the starter doesn't care if your battery gives 12 volts, it needs CCA (Cold Cranking Amps),  Autozone will test this for free where I live, most likely where you live too.
