I had the same problem. I changed out the radiator caps and it solved it. the pressure relief on the caps was opening at a lesser pressure and causing the engine to overheat.

You could have a cracked head gasket take it to a mechanic and have them test it to see if there are exghaust fumes comeing from the radiator fluid i had a ford contour that i changed thermostat and radiator and found out it was a cracked head/headgasket

My 1996 Cadillac fleetwood had a leacing radiator so I changed it and now it won't stop overheating any tips

Make sure that the thermostat is working properly. It is a good idea to change the thermostat when you change a radiator. How long does it take to overheat? You can leave the radiator cap off, start the car and wait for it to heat up and see if the fluid is pushed into the radiator. If not and the car overheats then you know that the thermostat is bad.

Last year my 2005 Chevy Impala water pump went out I change the water pump thermostat and that was it change thermostat free other times after that do the bad thermostats the overheating never really...

If you have changed the water pump AND the radiator AND the thermostat and still have the problem then the hoses should be checked to be sure they are not collapsing, also make sure that the coolant is 50/50 water and coolant and the thermostat is installed right.

The thermostat on my 2004 Dodge Intrepid was changed because it was overheating on me..and it is still doing the same thing. What could it be now?

If the thermostat was changed and you seem to still be overheating - the problem most likely lies within the radiator! Small holes in the radiator can become plugged - either from OLD OLD coolant or the sometimes unfriendly "barsleak" which is used sometimes after an intake gasket replacement and/or most commonly a leaky radiator! Radiator is the only other solution

Replaced cracked radiator in 2000 Chrysler LHS but car still overheating. What could be the problem?

I had the same problem. My Chrysler LHS kept overheating. I had the thermostat changed out first and it didn't help. Then I had the water pump changed out and still did no good. Then changed out the radiator, still overheated. Come to find out the people that changed my thermostat put it in backwards. Evidently, the thermostats for these cars look different from all the others and people are not sure how to put them in. I took mine to a Chrysler dealer and they fixed it for me.
