HAD the same problem, about the time my factory waranty was up. I never took it in or did anything to it, it finally stopped. Been fine for about a year now. Doubt this helps, but you are not the only one with this issue. I did call my dealer they said yeah, we have had a lot of problems with the electronic on that model. . . . .

Signal lights only work intermittenly

The blinker relay is getting worn out. It's right behind the hazard lights switch. Pull off the black trim around the radio, hazard, ets, and the relay is write there. Next time the blinkers stop working hit the hazard button or hit the trim just above the hazard lights button. Mines been doing it off and on and I just hit the trim above the hazard button and they start blinking again. Never have time or remember to get a new relay.

07 Chevy Cobalt: Radio back-lighting never turns off.

Newer cars come with a switches that delays their shut down of certain lights on the car. Sometime they allow you to get inside your home before the turn off but sometimes the switches malfunction and you light never turns off. I have had this happen on my 2006 vehicle several times in the past. Maybe these kind of switches one day will get a little better. Until then, you can ignore it or pay the big bucks and have a technitian repair it..

Dash lights and radio lights sometimes work or flicker when hit a bump. Any ideas?

Might be a loose battery cable. Just a thought. did see other post where you stated that you've disconnected battery several times. Hope you find/found a solution.

Electrical

This sounds similar to my problem yesterday, where the lights were blinking on and off and the gauges going up and doing like crazy. It was the battery has lost most of its charge (only had 230CCA out of the expected 800).

Fortunately, the battery was still under warranty.

I have a 94 camaro that has what I believe (advice from another) to be a bad ground. Can someone please tell me the places the grounds are located?? The problems I'm having are overheating, no highbeams,...

Maybe try replacing the wires that first come from the battery. Both positive and negative. Everything eventually grounds back to the frame that ends up going back to the battery. As far as the security light. This can cause alot of different problems from starter failure to injecter failure. Cars have been known to die while driving. Check this link for that

Doesnt always start, but lights, radio, AC/heat does come on.

First place to check is the battery. Old ones can push your lights , radio, etc, but the starter is the real load. . Can verify this by using jumper cables to a running vehicle and watch your machine fire right up! The reason mornings are the worst, is the battery has had the most time to discharge, and it is probably cooler outside.

Radio power will not stay on

Then you are saying the switches are part of radio? then the fault is with the radio, there is no computer that runs the radio. Pull the radio and send it out for repair through your local GM parts dept to a authorized GM repair facility, it is not user serviceable.
