Question about 2000 Saturn L-Series
I have an '01' L200. I'll bet the problem is in the switch. I've been through 2 of them. The electrical contacts wear out especially on the drivers side. That's the one that gets the most use right? [no left really]. Pop out the old switch next to the shift lever. Gently pry up the front of the switch, then the rear. It will come out easy enough. The whole thing is one assembly that simply unplugs. It's not the same as the passenger side switch because of the window lock switch, the wiring harness is different, so they are not interchangeable. See if your local junkyard can fix you up with a replacement. Way cheaper than a dealer!

It could be several things, from a bad switch, bad electrical connection at the switch or on the window motor inside the door, or even a bad motor.
