most of us here at Fixya will just bypass your question because of lack of effort on your side.

First check your water pump belt, it is on the left rear of the engine, remember the engine sits sideways. It is to the left of the throttle boy. It has one small belt with a black metal cover over it. With the engine running, make sure the belt is spinning, driving the water pump you can't see. If it is, you may have blown head gaskets.

To make a very long story short. Blown Head-Gasket plus or Head-Bolts have been pulled. If you do not have excessive money to put into the car, HURRY up and sell it QUICK!

Quickest answer that will most likely be the truth.
Blown head-gasket, pulled bolts out of block. Extremely costly to fix and most mechanics will not attempt to fix a northstar engine. There all notorious for this, look it up. Northstar engine overheats.... You will find it everywhere.... Best thing to do is either find someone dumb enough to buy it, or replace the engine, which a 4.9 would be better....

Your cylinder head bolts are the most likely cause they pull out of the block, it is a GM design flaw.
