Question about 1994 Jeep Cherokee

1994 Jeep Laredo The miles to empty is reading OC

My 1994 Jeep laredo has 360,000 miles on it and runs strong and great. We havent had a problem with it. We let the gas get low and normally it lets us know that its low but this time in the miles till empty section its saying OC. We unhooked the battery, tested the fuses, and called the Jeep dealership and no one can help tell us what it means it no longer tells us anything but OC even with a full tank of gas. What does OC mean and how can we fix it?

How much could I expect to pay for a new 4.0L engine? I just got my 94 Jeep grand cherokee laredo for $200, so putting an engine in it will still be a great deal, I think.

that depends on what part of the country you live in. here in nys, a 4.0 will cost approx. at a junk yard ) low miles. about 3 to 4 hundred.

1994 Jeep Cheerokee Laredo: The remote keyless

If it is a factory alarm you can't unhook it. Replace the switch attached to the lock cylinder inside the door. In the meantime, the switch on the passenger door may still be good. Cycle the key in the passenger door to see if it turns off the alarm.

Vehicle stalled and failed to restart.

Check between b&c terminals at the connector coming from the sensor (should be marked on the connector) there should be no continuity there.
