I also have a 07 Jetta and that light comes on all the time, to resolve this, you have to make sure all your tires are at their psi specs, I believe its like 32 psi. Check your owners manual or driver door to make sure. Dont worry, it gets irritating but that light comes on all the time.

I have an 08 Jetta ... that light (if I'm thinking it's the same one) was the one teling me I had a bulb burned out. I ended up having to have a part replaced since 1 of the contacts was broken, but it was under warranty still.

I have a warning light on in a 2006 VW Jetta. It looks like a Christmas ornament with an explanation mark inside with star burst shooting out. Does anyone know what it means?

Should be a Bulb Out Indicator. Check all your external lights (headlights, brake lights, turn signals) and make sure they are all working correctly.

Constant light on dashboard

My '01 TDI had the same issue and apparently it was a switch gone bad behind the horn and airbag. . . so no idea if the airbag would have worked had I been in an accident. Definately worth going to VW and having it looked at though. Better safe than sorry.
