Question about 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep 1995 Grand Cherokee: Service 4WD switch

Thank you for helping to narrow down the solution, but could you please be a little more specific? First, where is the switch located, and two, how do I know which one it is (or is there only one)? I am not a professional mechanic, but out of necessity, I am learning how to fix some of my problems myself. Is this one that might be considered over my head?

Thanks in advance... Bob

This is actually a very easy fix.
The switch is on the transfer case, you'll see wires or small harness going to it.
It should be the only electrical switch on the transfer case.
It unscrews by using a socket or wrench.

Does this vehicle have a manual transmission? Please give as much specific information as you can. Any tests, observations, sounds, or anything that you can think of to help narrow down your search for a solution. Good luck.

My car is leaking water from the bottom of my car what could it be

Let's see...Radiator, water pump, any number of hoses, thermostat gasket, head gasket or even the heater core. Please give a specific location related to the front of the engine and I can narrow it down for you.

Water leak at back of motor

Hard to say with just this little info but I would concentrate on the intake manifold gasket or the heater hose where it goes into the firewall. If you can be more specific I can narrow it down for you.

Head lights will randomly turn off or not work when car is started. When started, lights will also randomly turn off while driving. replaced head light switch but that did not fix problem. checked all...

Check and be sure whether or not your rear running lights are going on and off as well, this will narrow it down or give you a clue as to what is going on. A little generic help here without researching your vehicle but some have one or more relays in the system...this is just something to consider. If all the lights front and back go on an off I would be suspicious that there is not an issue with a thermal circuit breaker...these are often in the headlight switch though and if yours is new then this isn't likely but there may be a device elsewhere. Try to narrow down when it happens and try to see if you can "make" it happen. For instance did they go out when you hit a bump? Has the weather been colder than normal maybe causing a strain on some part of the wiring harness or a connector? These are all just thoughts to help you narrow things down a bit...
Good luck.

Headlights do not work on 96 camaro.

by looking at the manual for my 97 Camaro and if you say that the switch is good then that helps narrow it down a lot, because i found a circuit breaker... not a fuse!...located inside the headlamp switch itself. good luck and let me know if you find it... c.b's. are usually resetable please let me know if you fix it because i have the same car and it might go out on me someday..thanks man! also you can see if your getting voltage on the yellow wire when the switch is in the "head" position..if its not there, then its almost a guaranty that its the c.b.

Help locating the Ignition Switch on a 2001 Camaro PLEASE!

It should be located on the right side of the steering column about half way to the floor. It is activated by a rod connected to the lock key cylinder that runs down the column to the switch.
Let me know if you need anything further.
Good luck.
