You could glue soft rubber blocks you have cut to suit and put in the appropriate places.Sounds like the door rubbers are a little worn.

Trunk ajar light on in message center

Look for a contact switch in the trunk. Sometimes, when the trunk (or door for that matter) gets slammed, then button gets set deeper.
What's happening is door and trunk switches are "self adjusting", and a slam "Self adjusts" too far. It is hard to reset the switch without killing it. Just get another one if you find this to be your situation. Test the switch before you buy a replacment.

Tailgate on a 01' Ford Windstar LX is rattling.

From your description, I believe your tailgate is not latching when you close it. Slamming it shut instead of simply closing it should solve your problem

Cab light and exterior bed lights stay on after closing the door , where is the door switch located. My manual is at home. F150 1998

The door latch switch is located in the door latch. If you spray the door latch with WD-40, open and close a few times, and spray again, it should start to work again.

2003 F-150 4X4 with extended cab: while driving, the engine sputters at about 45-55 mph. It acts as if the fuel/air mix is not right? Also, the power window on the passenger side will not roll up.

here is a trick to get the window back up. open the door with the key on. hold the switch in the up position and slam the door shut while holding the switch inthe up position this should jar the motor enough to get the window up. but you are going to need a new window motor eventually if this trick works for you
