Got a new mini cooper

hi if your camshaft had broke the car wouldn,t start and if the camshaft had broke the camshafts had a fault in it and it makes no sense what so ever cause if all your valves want changing the car wouldn,t start and if it did it would run very badly you are being took for a ride on this discription if you had a knocking noise from the top end of the engine the camshaft and rockers are proberly at fault may run like this for a long time or not but if i were you i would take it to another garage for a second opinion don,t mention about what bmw said something is not right here if this car is new then what mileage has it done and complain to bmw to fix it as this should not happen [free] these cams should last 100000 miles ifoil changes are done when they are suppose to good luck yates210456
