Question about 1991 GMC K1500
Can I replace my 305 motor with a 350? I've been told there is no problem, everything should bolt up correctly and work fine. Is this true?
The other thing to keep in Mind is The Vortec is a computer managed engine you will need to install a computer for a 350 but they do bolt up exactely the same, The other thing to look at before hand is weather or not the block you plan to drop in has all the same accesorie attachment point, 305-350 shouldnt be a problem but 350 down grade to 305 you will find the heads do not have the same bold pattern on the ft end for axcessorie mounts!

Everything will bolt up the same the only difference between the two is the bore the 350 is the better engine of the two
