Recently the windows won't go back up until I start the car again. Sometimes it takes 2 -3 startings to get them to work. The A/C has gone out too but comes back on a couple starts later. The door locks are working fine. This car does not come with a remote.
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

open up the air intake where the choke is and stray intake cleaner int here and work the flap. then move into the fuel system. also i remember correctly the gas gauge is on a fuse check for blown fuse.
My air conditioner started blowing hot air last summer. I put coolant in it and didn't run it until the beginning of summer this year (2011). All of a sudden it started working again. Sometimes it blows hot but if I keep it running full blast the coolness comes back. I don't know why this happened.
To be able to help you, we need to know what the error codes your system is putting out. DON'T disconnect the battery until codes are read. You can take it to most chain store auto parts houses and they will read the codes for you - MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN EACH ONE IN THE ORDER THAT THEY COME OUT! And then we can help you a little bit better,
Or you can take it to a shop that has a diagnostic computer and for about 100 bucks they can pin point your problem and give you an estimate for repairs.
sounds like a fuel issue: fuel pump, fuel filter, as far as the battery dying while driving it is an alternator problem if I am reading the issues correctly, now if it just died and would crank then it is not a charging issue, the other possibility is an ignition problem: crank senor, ignition module, coils, plugs. I hope this helps some Tim
Hi Sometimes the car won’t start because the wheel is turned the wrong way. Try turning the wheel and then trying it again. Check that the car is in park. If it was shut off in gear, it won’t start. Next, make sure the car isn’t out of gas. Check whether the tires are stuck up against a curb or something. If so, turn the steering wheel firmly to the right or try to get out and physically move the car a bit and it should start. Do you have the clutch pedal down if it’s a standard? Or, if you have an antitheft device, check to see if that’s allright. Check your distributor cap for moisture. If you recently ran through a deep puddle, a damp or wet distributor cap will keep the car from starting. If there are cracks in it, replace it. If you cant turn the car key then this is probably due to an antitheft gizmo that turns on when you shut off the car. Just wiggle the steering wheel a little and then try. If that doesn’t do it, turn the wheel as far to one side as you can and try again. This should get it going. However if the battery’s good but the car still won’t turn over you may have a bad ignition switch. Try this test. Turn the key to ON (not start) and see in the warning lights are working. If they don’t and the battery connections are clean you have a bad ignition switch. If it's the ignition switch you probably will have to take it in to the garage. Call for service if you’ve checked out all of the above things because the other possibilities will require a little more technical skill to discover.
