Question about 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD
Hello. I'm researching the web to get tips on replacing ball joints and all the info I find indicates I should use a special tool for pressing out the ball joints. It this absolute? thanks in advance for any reply. V. Gonzaelz
The only way is to press them out with a press, and press the new ones in. I have seen people try to press them out with a vise and a socket against the balljoint and it did not work, a local machine shop or repair shop should have a press.
