I had the same problem just a little bit ago with my 91 mustang lx 2.3L. b. If you are not getting and sparks from your coil packs then im going to guess this is where the problem is. start by replacing all spark plugs and wires. if this does not work it most likely the coil packs ,But if there is spark then its your timing belt.

Start by checking for vacuum leaks, compression then a scan for fault codes. One of those should turn up a problem

Won't start

need to check a few things .is there spark and is the gas coming to the motor. turn the key and listen for a biz noise from the gas tank, if you got that then the fuel pump is working, you need to see if you have any spark to the spark plug. if there is no spark then you need a crank position sensor

Started car 3 weeks ago just fine tried to start yesterday turns over just fine but tried to listen for fuel pump cant hear it come on maybe fuse i need to check first but dont know which one or maybe add...

First of all, a little "auto repair 101" is in order... It is absolutely impossible for the fuse to be the problem. If the fuse is blown, there is a reason for it. Fuses are NEVER the CAUSE of an electrical circuit problem. Blown fuses are ALWAYS the RESULT of an electrical circuit problem. Simply replacing a blown fuse without finding and correcting the reason that it blew in the first place, will not fix your car.
Now that we have that part done with, I would say that if you cannot hear the pump running. the pump is most likely the cause of your "Cranks, Won't Start" problem. Keep in mind that the pump will only run for about 2 seconds when you turn the key to the "ON" position. I recommend using 2 people and removing your gas cap and place your ear near the fuel fill tube to listen while someone else turns the key on. If the pump is not running, sometimes you can get it to run if you have someone turn the key on while you hit the bottom of the fuel tank with your fist.(Hit with your fist as hard as you can) A rubber mallot also works good for this. I don't recommend using any metal objects for this purpose, because the can spark. (Sparks and fuel tanks do not mix well :) )

Car wont start

If you are getting spark to the plugs, (and assuming nothing has happened to screw up the timing of the spark), the only thing that would cause the car not to start is that you are not getting fuel into the cylinders. You can check this by squirting some ether into the air intake of the engine. You can get some start spray at an auto parts store.
