Question about 1991 Honda Civic
THIS MORNING I REPLACED THE INSTRUMENTAL FUSE BUT THE SWITCH WAS ON MOTOR OFF AND I KEEP PULLING THE REST OF THE FUSES OUT TO CHECK THEM OUT AND WENT I TRY TO STAR MY CAR WAS HARD AND THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON WHAT CAN I DO T FIX IT ?
See what code is throwing the check engine light. To check the code pull back the carpeting floor on the passenger side under the dash and you should see the car's main ECU with a little window and an LED bulb flashing when the car is in the on position. You have to count the amount of flashes it gives off...the way to read is it will give slow flashes first, then fast ones. So for example it may flash once, pause, the fast 3 times...that would then mean it's throwing a code 13. Once you figure out the code and what that code is for then u can go from there. Good luck!
