Question about 1993 Saturn SL1
My altinato was bad on my saturn so i got it fixed. After changin the altinator we boosted the car and it would not stay on, Now it doesn't even turn over when we try to start it.
How can it be wired incorrectly? that is virtually impossible! I just replaced my alternator in my 1993 SL1 and it has one clip like plug that plugs into the back side of the alternator and a red wire that is mounted onto a bolt on the rear of the alternator. But you are right if the alternator were working properly it would produce enough energy to keep the engine running... I would say the alternator they put in is bad and would have them change it again until they get it right.

Either the atternator is bad or wired incorrectly. If it were working it would produce enough energy to keep the engine running.
