Make a solution of dish soap and water, more soap than water, and put in spray bottle and spray edges of glass and the rubber track it goes up and down in...spray heavely and work windows up and down while doing this, the soap lubricates the rubber and glass and when it dries it leaves a film of lubrication to slide on. should take care of the problem, unless you have tired electric motors.

Dodge Avenger window rolls down when I start the car

Probably a bad window switch on your driver's door panel. Replace it and you should be fine.

Drivers electric window wont roll up it goes down real slow but wont go up past halfway. Its real slow going down and before this it would go slow and roll outside of track at top

Window regulator and motor assembly will need replaced. Common problem. You've seen other people with it at the drive thru ATM and pick up windows - getting out of there car to get items!! LOL! Seriously have an experienced mech. look into it. Having this thing not work will be a real pain especially if it dies during a rain storm. Good luck

94 nissan altima Driver window will roll down, very slow to roll up at time. No other windows will roll down.

My quess is that the drivers window was left down during a rain, causing the master switch to become corroded. Or the wires at the drivers door hinge are broken. This is a nightmare to repair! And this is more than likely your trouble. If so, try to make the repairs as far away from any movement as possible.

Passanger window very very slow to roll down. but rolls up normally. problem worse in cold weather.

well without knowing what make & model its hard to say but sense im a master cert.GM CADDY 15A/ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN. ive had tons of experence with lots of window problems in 12 years. but i would say that the window motor is just getting week and sense the spring on the window regulator is for helping the motor roll up i would say that thats why it rolls down slow(because the spring is to much for the week motor to push against) or possibly the contact points inside the master window switch could have bad contacts causing low voltage in one direction. ive also seen worn window guide channels(where the window edges silde in the door) causing the window to bind when going in one direction. try lubricating the channel with silicone spray. 3m wet type.

Rear window rolling down when ignition is turned

Most cars will do this for tem minutes, that is, let you roll down the windows even after the key is off. When you open the drivers door, it automatically cuts all power, thus stopping the procedure. Hope this helps.

Drivers side window goes down but not up

Sounds like you need a new window motor, if it goes down slow with gravity to help, and won't go up means its tired and needs replaced.

Power windows roll down slowly

You can try a dry lube or lithium grease on the slow ones, but it sounds more like you need new window motors. Unfortunately Saturns are plastic cars, and... The window motors are not too difficult to change and it requires removing the outer door panel to make it easier to access.

Passenger side power window intermittent slow roll down

I would take off the door panel and check the wires to the window motor. Make sure that it is plugged in all the way.
