Is your car a drive by wire configuration? Look where the throttle cable goes, does it go on the inlet manifold where the throttle ody is or does it only go to a small component near the engine mount on the rhs?

a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi Christina , do you daytime running lights ? There is a front ECU that controls the headlamps ! there is nothing your going to be able to do ! you need to take it to someone who has the tools to check this . Could possibly need new ECU - electronic control module !

Replaced f/p could it be mechanical fuel return valve in tank; motor revs up to4000 rpm then cuts

inspect TPS and idle control motor--good idea to clean the throttl body unit ------a scan w factory gear will show whats goin on in the system--a code reader at a partsplace wont--seek a private mechanic who has xperienc in data streams

2002 Mitsubishi Galant P0300 Intermitent Miss between 2500-3000 rpm

Have you checked fuel pressure? Random misfires (0300) are usually related to fuel, spark, or compression issues-one of those is not right.

While driving audi a4 died an not starting

- Won't start
- Check for spark (no spark on any cylinder)
- Check for rpm signal to ECU with scan tool or vag-com (checks good)
- Check for power and ground at coil packs (no power on red/green wire)
- Check fuse 29 (fuse checks good, but is not energized during cranking)
- Check ECM power relay (is getting power and ground to coil side, and power to source pin. It clicks, but no output to load pin)
- Jump relay (vehicle runs)
- Replace relay.

Reseting my ecu

hi sound more like you have a dashboard problem. sometimes the dash connections can get damaged or come lose when its been vigorously, the ecu does not control these abs controls the tech gas and temp run from the dash power only part were both tech and gages are together is the main connection connecting the wiring to the dash.
