Water in drivers footwell

first of all does it have a sun roof if so open it and look for the 2 drain holes on the left and right corners, factory sun roofs have drain holes with tubes leading down through the car interior to the area just behind the door in the frame for drainage if they get stoped up they cant drain and water will fill either floor board, you can blow those out with a blow gun and airhose, also check under the cowle and be sure its not full of debre, if it is then get a stiff wire and clean the drain holes located to the left and right corners of it as well as they get stoped up and water can enter the car and leak into the floor pans as well

Radio antenna unpluged

If you can see the rear of the radio without something else in the way, you should be able to find the antenna connection

The only reason to have an electrical wire going to the antenna is for a motor that raises and lowers the antenna. The antenna cable to the radio is the only wire on the antenna.
To replace the antenna, you have to remove it from where it connects onto the car, then lift it out from there. The antenna and the cable cannot be separated, it's all one piece. You pull the cable off of the back of radio, and tie a strong string onto it, because when you lift out the antenna, the cable will be pulled out from under the dash and to wherever the antenna is situated and out that hole. Now tie the string onto (hope you had a long string, lol) the end of the cable on your new antenna and cable, and stick the end of the cable into the antenna mounting hole. Pull the string from under the dash by the radio and you will bring the cable back into the dash and where you can plug it into the old radio and listen to good old music again !

I purchased a used 2005 Pacifica and often have problems with mice getting into the actual "inside" (interior) of the vehicle! Is this very common? I have driven cars that are 20 yrs old that...

Look under the car its used maybe someone did some work under there and all it takes is a hole the size of a dime for mice to get in. A drain plug not put in a hole drilled back behind the taillights if they towed a trailer maybe left out a plastic plug for rear quarter.I would say if you had a radio and antenna put in its not the car did you spend 300 on a radio for a middle of the road or did you buy a cheap one for 150.How do you know they hooked up the new antenna? Did they pull up the carpet drill a hole for the antenna wire take the dash apart to run it I doubt it. They probably mounted the antenna and hid the cable and hooked up the old antenna. Follow the new antenna cable that it comes through the body goes under the carpet and comes up into the radio area. And if they put a hole in the body plug it to keep the mice out

How do you change the atenna for a honda civic LX

The antenna is held down on the roof by 2 or 3 screws, and the antenna wire runs down the inside of the driver's side of the windshield pillar and comes out down by the fusebox, approx by the drivers knee area. When I changed mine, I took the lower plastic from the bottom of the driver's side dash off, so I could see what I was doing. It was only a few screws to get it off. Once I had the antenna lead loose from the back of my radio deck, I tied a piece of string to the end, then taped it in place, then pulled the old antenna out of the roof, pulling the string up with it. I attached the string to my new antenna, and used the string to pull it back down thru the windshield pillar. Fasten down the screws, connect it back to your radio, and you are good to go!

How do I change the exterior antenna assembly on my 1998 GMC Sierra??

Unscrew the cap on the base of the antenna. Disconnwct the cable from the radio first.. As the niut is unscrewed hold on to the any. and remove the nut/cap. The low the ant. and you should see a cross bar. Push down on one und off the crossbar to position it vertically and you should be ablr to lift it out of the hole. Don'tjerk on it and make sure the cable is not hanging up on any wiring. Good luck

Radio antenna

You should be able to take the plastic piece going down the inside panel from roof to dash. Usually somwhere in there or under the dash you will find a slip connection. But some go all the way to the radio.

Water dripping on the floor from under the dash on passanger side

We had that problem. It's probably from the drain pan under the windshield. What you can do is remove the drain cover (attached to it are the windshield wipers). On either side you'll see a drain hole, probably one or both are clogged somewhere in the line. Fish a wire through the two drain lines (we used an electrical snake) until all the leaves and pine needles and junk come out under the car. Pour some water through to test, and you should be good to go. Good Luck!

Antenna replacement

There should be a nut at the base of the antenna or in the car right under the antenna. take that off. then there might be two ways to do it. 1. you might have to run new antenna wire to under the dash board. or the antenna will need the adapter right under where the antenna sits.
