This is simple to do once you find the battery. Remove the rear seat (pull up on the front of it to release) to expose the battery. Then remove the Negative terminal followed by the Positive terminal. Finally remove battery hold down bolt to free the battery. ALWAYS wears eye protection when working on/near/with the battery.

Note- The seat belt configuration in the seat before removing... don't forget the seat belts when installing.

Use battery terminal protector on the terminals. Thoroughly inspect the terminals for signs of corrosion. Replace as necessary.

Can you put a alternator from a 2003 buick lesabre in 2000 buick lesabre

If the mounting set up is the same and the connections are the same the only difference likely will be the capacity of the alternators. ie one may be 60 amp(example) compared to the other 90 amp( example) It will have the rating on the body of the alternator and the lower amp will work harder to maintain a fully charged battery.

Where can i get a diagram of which springs go where on a buick lesabre brake shoes

Rear Brake shoe replacement can be a difficult task at times. Most mechanics replace one sie at a time so that they can look at the other side for reference if needed. You can find step by step brake shoe repalcement here: http://www.freeautomechanic.com/brake-drum-brakes.html

You can also get a diagram in the repair manual link at the bottom of that page.

How do i get to the battery on a 2003 buick lasbre. I'm trying to replace it

Battery in under the rear seat. Lift the front of the bottom part of the seat and you'll find the battery. Undo the mount, and untighten the battery terminals. Reverse order to install the new battery.

How hard is it to change the water pump on my 1991 Buick Regal 3.8 engine. It is not leaking but car keeps getting hot, I have changed the radiator

The pump is not that hard to change but if you haven't tried a new thermostat yet then i would suggest that you try that first,it is the most common cause of overheating problems, next being the rad fan it's self not coming on either because of a bad motor or a temperature sensor failure or a defective relay.Let me know what you have eliminated and we can go on from there.

Need a replacement battery for a 2003 Buick LeSabre custom

Most auto parts stores will change the battery for you if you purchase a battery from them. Walmart, NTB, Firestone, Sears, Pep Boys, etc..., offer this service also.
*(not endorsing any one in particular, reference only)*.
I would suggest a quality replacement with the recommended specifications for your vehicle. I.E, size, CCA, post orientation.
Pretty straight forward, cost and your individual preference are your limits. Figure between $50- $90 as a reference point. Mine was about $72 for a 1999 Buick Century, which is similar to yours.
