I think the best thing to do is to buy an adapter from your local audio store or wal-mart. The adapter should plug right into the original harness and come with the color codes for the new wiring to your stereo. That's what I usually do when replacing one and it makes it very easy!

SOURCE: i am having problems wiring

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Yes, different color coding may have been used. What's important is that you figure out what's the ground, power and memory. Once you got this three it will be easy to search for the speaker outputs. It can be a trial and error thing but it's worth it. By the way, please check the following colors for it may help you out.
- GROUND (black) - MEMORY (yellow) - RED (power)
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

SOURCE: 1995 Nissan Pathfinder XE V6: Is there a computer diagnosis socket and if so, where?

In most model years they put it under the Dashboard, Drivers side near the center console however, Nissan had a tendency to put them near the power distribution box under the hood, drivers side as well. If there is an Auto Zone close by go there and ask them to read the codes for you, they will look up the location and get the codes with their reader for free.

I need a colored wiring diagram fof a 1968 ford f-100

Haynes or Chilton manual should have the wiring diagrams. Your local library might have the right repair manual where you could make copies of the wiring.
No such thing as a colored diagram, but any wiring diagram would have all the wires color-coded.
Good luck. The wiring on your '68 would be super-simple compared to today's vehicles.

Use a voltmeter with the key on. Place one lead on the body and go through the pins until u read 12 volts and that will be the hot. Turn on a turn signal and then repeat the steps. You should be able to crack the color code after the process.

Non of the color codes match my car

If none of the codes match then the spot you are retrieving them from may have been changed, your local dodge dealer can cross you VIN# and find the cade. Or the Paint shops have camera's that can take a pic for the exact match.

I own a 2005 Impala, but, in error, I purchased a 2000 Impala High Beam Flasher. The 2005 and 2000 Impala have differant head lamp plugs. I am pretty sure you cannot give me exact wire-to-wire matching I... is a great site and gives wiring diagrams for all makes/models of vehicles. The other person is right, it would be best to purchase the proper part for your vehicle.
