You are going to have to replace the master and slave cylinders for the hydraulic clutch, the seals have failed in the slave, but from past experience they should always been replaced as a pair.

The clutch pedal wants to stay on the floor

Replace the clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder as you have a failure in the system allowing air in and that is why the pedal goes to the floor and will not return up. May be a proper bleed of the system first may fix the problem so do that first but if the fault comes back after a few days then it will be dollars time.

Have put new slave cylinder in and have bled them put it still goes all the way to the floor and stays there. Any suggestions?

You need to have the system either pressure bled or you need to vacuum bled it with a MityVac brand clutch bleeding tool kit.

Changed all for calibers and bled from passanger rear to driver front tire. I get good pedle after three pumps. Start the truck and pedle goes to floor and will not pump up

it could be the slave silander or it could be the vacc line going to the booster . I have buyed a new slave silander an it was bad .I would check the vacc check valve it is on the hose that come out of the booster for the vacc check valve .

Clutch has no pressure when you push it in to change gears sometime you can pump it hard it will go in good then iit goes to the floor again what could be wrong

Put morw brake fluid in clutch master cylinder, pump clutch paddle, look under car for leak, if no leak replace clutch master cylinder, not holding pressure.

Clutch pedal goes to floor no preasure filled and bled slave cyl same result

Hi:
If you have bled the system, you are down to either having a bad clutch master cylinder, or a bad clutch slave cylinder. You could eliminate the slave cylinder by removing the line and capping it off, and if you have a firm pressure on the clutch pedal ( don;'t try to push it down, just check for pressure!) then your slave cylinder is bad. If you cap off the line, and bleed the system, and the pedal still has no pressure, then your clutch master cylinder is bad!

My clutch on my 1998 cavalier is loosing its pressure. When the car is driven for a while it gets kind of hard to shift and when i am at a light and push the clutch in its kind of hard to get in gear.

If it has a hydraylic clutch and not a cable then this could just need bleeding or a new slave and maybe a master cylinder this can be checked easily on the gearbox where the clutch lever is there is a rod that goes into the slave cylinder or if it is a cable then that will be there in staed of the slave cylinder, get someone to push the clutch pedal down then check the movment hold that down and make sure the clutch lever travels about 1"stays out.if it does not then theres a fault, you can bleed this of air and if that does not work then then there is a fault in either of the cylinders.If there is this movment in the clutch arm and it does hold out then there is a fault in the clutch cover,bearing or damaged folk which may mean removal of the gearbox.

Clutch pedle stays down.

Hello;
It sounds as the pressure plate diaphragm has given up on you. From the sounds of your post, you will need to replace the clutch assembly. Also check the clutch cable for binding and chaffing. Hope this helps and rate me high.
Thanks;

Clutch pedle stays down

if you have a hydralic clutch usually the pedal staying on the floor indicates air in the clutch lines. if so check 4 leaks at the filler and at the slave cylinder. however just bleeding the clutch system may temporarily fix your issue
