I want to remove rubber on top of back bumper. I would like to replace my back up sensors

Hi Bruce:
First off, I don't have specific experience with your make and model, but I have had the occasion to replace the part you describe on a Dodge pickup.
On that vehicle, the rubber "tread" was attached to the bumper by protruding wedge pins that were inserted in holes in the bumper.
My suggestion is to either lie down under the bumper with a flashlight, or use a mirror and flashlight to look at the underside of the top of the bumper to see if the method of attachment can be determined.
If it is pins, and you can get at them, a squeeze with pliers will usually release them.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

How do you replace the rear liscense plate lights

Look behind you bumper where the lights are installed. There should be a clip slipped over the back of the housing that holds the light into the bumper. 1 per light. Use some needlenose plyers or a screwdriver to push it off. The light sould pull out of the bumper from the other side. You can disconnect the harness is you wish or just replace the bulb. Whichever suits your fancy. After replacement put the holder back into the bumper and slip the clip back on behind it. 10 minute job.

How do I replace the front bumper in order to replace the front headlights?

You shouldn't need to remove a bumper to replace the front headlight. Simply open the hood, and you should be able to see the back side of the headlights in the engine compartment at the front. There will be bolts/clips holding them in place.

Loosen these and pull out (you can disconnect the electrical supply too) and replace the bulb, then put back together the same way you took it apart.

Rear bumper cover is loose on one side

The sides of the bumper slide on over a large pin to hold them in place. The easiest and correct way of getting it back on is to unbolt the bumper cover from the impact absorbers in the rear and slide the cover off by pulling it straight back. When you slide it back on, make sure the cover goes on the pins on each side before pushing it all the way back in place and bolting it back up to the impact absorbers. If you have been rear-ended then the tracks that these pins slide into may be broken. If thats the case you will have to replace the bumper cover

Lift up on the sides of the bumper to disengage the sides of the bumper. Pull it back a little and disconnect the connector for the park aid sensors if equipped. Pull back and it is off.

Front Bumper

Chances are the shop that initially replaced your bumper didn't do it right and the shoddy install left it sitting lower than it should have. Because of this, you were able to snag the bumper on the parking block. The reason you have to replace it is most likely the mounting bolt holes were torn out or otherwise damaged when the bumper was caught, and there is no longer a mounting surface to use with new mount bolts to put the bumper back on.
